Castelo dos Mouros (The Moorish Castle)

A journey through the Moorish Castle is a journey back in time, where history and nature blend seamlessly.

  • Castelo dos Mouros is open daily:

    • Winter (October to March): 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM (last admission at 5:00 PM)

    • Summer (April to September): 9:30 AM – 8:00 PM (last admission at 7:00 PM)

    • By Train: Take the train from Lisbon (Rossio Station) to Sintra. From Sintra’s train station, take the 434 bus to the castle.

    • By Bus: The 434 tourist bus connects Sintra’s main attractions, including Castelo dos Mouros.

    • By Car: Parking is available near the site, but due to limited space, public transport is recommended.

    • Adults: €8

    • Seniors (65+) and Youth (6-17): €6.50

    • Children under 6: Free
